Our Gum Leaf Pod is a cubby house like no other. Immensely popular with both landscape architects and children alike, the Pod was inspired by the acclaimed Snuggle Pot and Cuddle Pie books by famous Australian author, May Gibbs. Reminiscent of the gumnut babies’ leaf cubby in the books, our Gum Leaf Pod is a spectacular, organically-formed sculpture offering opportunities for all kinds of play.
The Pod features a fully sculpted interior with large bench seats able to accommodate up to 10 children at once. This provides children and teachers with the perfect, shaded space for storytelling or reading.
The Gum Leaf Pod works best used in playspaces together with our Gum Blossoms, Gum Leaf seats and Gumnut chairs to create a uniquely-Australian fairy garden play space.

Fixing of this item is achieved with 5 x 200 x 100mm x 10mm brackets each with 2 x M14 holes. These are located on the interior rim of the Pod at floor level and are designed to be covered by the floor treatment.
